  WHAT IS NEHEMIAH?

Nehemiah is a non for profit foundation, approved by lenders, that offers a grant to buyers for the down payment.


Once you are qualified, based on income / debt and credit, the Nehemiah foundation ( among other such foundations ) can grant you the 3 % of the purchase price for the down payment.


The seller makes a contribution to the foundation for the 3 % grant plus a service fee at the closing.


Buyers with past credit issues may still qualify for a participating loan.
